LOCATION

Sections 2, 12 T33N, R41E. The property lies within the Battle Mountain-Eureka Trend within Buffalo Valley, Humboldt County, Nevada. The property is within the active Battle Mountain mining district, approximately 6 miles SW of Newmont Mining's Lone Tree gold mine, 6 miles W of Gold Corp's Marigold gold mine, and 3 miles NW of the Converse / Redline deposit. Topographic coverage USGS Brooks Springs and Cherry Creek NE 7.5' quadrangles.

DEPOSIT TYPE

GEOLOGIC SETTING

The property occupies uplands in section 2 and the range front with gravel cover to SE in section 12. Penn-Permian Havallah Formation (Pph) has been intruded by Jurassic quartz monzonite (Jqm) sill or laccolith. Pph roof pendants and xenoliths are 1000' x 500' in shallow, west dipping tabular geometries. In section 2, Pph lithologies include limey sands (200'-400' thick) sandwiched between arenaceous units. Four generations of syn- and post-Jurassic intrusive diking have been mapped. The dikes follow prominent NW and NE structural trends commonly hosting anomalous gold and trace elements throughout the district. Dikes and faulted sediment blocks are hosted by Jqm in section 12 (from drill logging). In section 2, a major, northwest trending altered fault zone to 100' wide, 2,000' strike underlies anomalous to ore grade soil and rock chip gold samples. Several pulses of Au mineralization are evident with best grades along shears, stockworks, and other zones of structural prep.

ALTERATION

Limonite-altered Jqm is obvious along shears, structure, stockworks in section 2. Thick sections of iron stained intrusive and sediment have been intersected in section 12 under gravel cover. Antimony-bearing quartz veins are exposed in prospects in section 2.

MINERALIZATION

The Section 2 target contains widespread +100 ppb Au (ranging to 4.6 ppm) from soil samples over a 2,000' x 1,800' area, and from rock samples (ranging to 2.4 ppm) within sheared, fractured intrusive and within Havallah limey and arenaceous sediments. Shallow dipping Havallah sediments contain anomalous gold along faulted margins offering good potential for ponded mineralization within and below the rafted sediment blocks.

The Section 12 target contains anomalous gold intercepted below gravel cover, in sediment blocks, in dikes, and within iron stained intrusive. Gold mineralization interpreted as leakage from an underlying, untested gold source.

TRACE ELEMENT GEOCHEM

Clustered multi ppb to ppm Au associated with Ag, As, Sb, Pb, Zn in soil, rock, drill holes.

TARGETS

The Section 2 Targets include Structural Trap - Ponded Type mineralization and a Stockwork Fracturing / Quartz Veining Type. The Structural Trap target is best seen along 1400N, 14 W where jasperoid replacement of a rafted block contains 4.6 ppm Au soils and 2.89 ppm Au in rock. Ore grade mineralization is apparent along trend and within other xenoliths adjacent to fault-shears. Mineralization can be projected downdip where it ponds below Havallah sediment caps or within clay altered dikes. Other areas of mineralization with the Havallah include line 2700 N, stations 8W -- 10W where gold values to 3.5 ppm occur in soils and near line 750 N, 5 W (1.2 ppm Au soils), and several other untested sites (soils>100 ppb Au) in section 2.

The Pediment Targets include drill intercepts to 470 ppb Au over 5' that are open at depth with 1,000' gaps between holes in section 12. Geophysical and drill evidence suggest at least four separate targets with no significant drilling nearby. Gold mineralization occurs in sediments, structures, and dikes. These targets are primarily related to feeder faults projected from outcropping mineralization on nearby Newmont ground. Anomalous to ore-grade geochemistry in drill holes associated with soils, rocks, and geophysics appear to represent leakage from an underlying, blind gold system. This portion of the property is untested at depth below the Golconda Thrust where underlying Penn-Permian sediments of the Overlap Sequence (Marigold mine host) may be mineralized.

BUFF CLAIMS, Humboldt County, Nevada USA
Project Summary

OVERVIEW. Buffalo Mountain Property Holdings.

The Buff claims, located four miles southwest of Newmont's Lone Tree gold mine, were staked to cover structurally-controlled, sediment hosted gold mineralization and a copper-bearing intrusive. The claims are underlain by Penn-Permian Havallah sandy limestone, shale, chert, and quartzite that have been intruded by Cretaceous (?) diorite. The sediments appear to be folded into a north striking synform possibly plunging shallowly to the south.

Altered Havallah shales, host of a 400,000 ton @ 0.046 oz/ton gold resource located about one mile southwest of the claims, can be followed intermittently onto southwest part of the claim block.

The Buff claims are located about two miles northeast of Nevada Mine Properties II, Inc. "Tact" claims.

PROPERTY

Twenty six unpatented lode mining claims:
Buff #1-4, 5-8 NMC 398091-398094, 419638-419641
Buff #11-14, 15 NMC 398095-398098, 419643
Buff #16-18 NMC 419644-419646
Buff # 21-25, 31-35 NMC 419648-419652, 419657-419661

LOCATION

Section 32, T34N, R42E. Buffalo Mountain, Humboldt County, Nevada.
Battle Mountain - Eureka Trend.
Approximately 4 miles SW of Newmont's Lone Tree gold mine, 5 miles NW of Gold Corp / Barrick's Marigold gold mine, and 4 miles north of the Converse / Redline gold deposit.

DEPOSIT TYPE

GEOLOGIC SETTING

Cretaceous diorite intrudes Penn-Permian Havallah limestone-chert-quartzite-shale-shale sequence that has been folded into a north striking synform, plunging gently southerly. A range fault, generally following 020-040 strike of the sediments, crosses the claim block from southwest to northeast. Some investigators mapped thrust faults separating Havallah lithologies.

PHYSICAL SETTING-COMPETITOR ACTIONS

Proximity to Newmont's Lone Tree mine along with the 8 claims Newmont has staked and continues to hold in NE ¼ of section 32, adjacent to the Buff claims, warrants an active position at the Buff property.

TARGETS

Shallow Targets: Mineralized and gold anomalous shears hosted by Havallah Fm. in SW¼, section 32, modeled as Lone Tree-style shears or shallow Converse / Redline-style gold skarn.

Deep Targets: Prospective targets hosted in the Overlap Sequence or Lower Plate sediments below the Golconda thrust, enhanced by presence of intrusives. Modeled after a Turquoise Ridge-type deposit.
