Brew Property

Summary

The 3509 hectare Brew Project, NTS map sheets 115O/2 and 3, covers the Brewer Creek placer drainage within the unglaciated Yukon Plateau, approximately 100 km south of Dawson City, which is 538 km by paved highway north of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. The property is situated in the Dawson Mining District centered at a latitude of 63°09'N and a longitude of 139°03'W. The property was accessed via helicopter from the Thistle Creek airstrip, 15 km to the southwest. The claims are registered to Ryanwood Exploration Inc. of Dawson City, Yukon Territory, under option to Aldrin Resource Corp. of Vancouver, British Columbia.

The property is primarily underlain by Devonian to Mississippian tonalitic orthogneiss with undifferentiated amphibolite, lesser granitic orthogneiss and minor fine metasiliciclastic rocks with local marble lenses. An ultramafic lense is suggested by the government airborne magnetic response. A buried Cretaceous intrusion is suggested by the curvature in drainages forming circular ring type features and is supported by the presence of other Cretaceous intrusions in the region.

The Brew Project is drained by several placer producing streams, but no previous hardrock exploration has been documented. The Brew Project lies 22 km east of the recent White Gold discovery of Underworld Resources Ltd., where results include 8.8 g/t Au over 24m from hole WD08-28 and 3.4 g/t Au over 104m from hole WD09-31. The deposit model for the Brew property is the intrusion related gold model, which has been postulated for mineralization at the White Gold property.

The Brew Project has potential to host mineralization similar to that at the White Gold property based on similar geological setting and geology (including Devono-Mississippian orthogneiss, possible ultramafic rocks and suggestions of a buried Cretaceous intrusion), favourable airborne magnetic geophysical signature, and presence of placer creeks.

A non-contingent two phase exploration program is recommended with a budget of $200,000. A $100,000 budget is proposed to complete a Phase 1 program consisting of soil geochemical and ground magnetic surveys and property scale mapping, with concurrent prospecting and rock geochemical sampling, across the entire property. This should be followed by a Phase 2 trenching program expected to cost $100,000.
